Founded in 1962 to provide a strong liberal arts education within a nurturing atmosphere, Brookfield Academy enrolls 800 day students in Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12. The school’s Five Star system emphasizes the moral principles of a free society, and personal responsibility and ethics are promoted at all levels. The college preparatory curriculum also includes classics, languages, music, art, and numerous Advanced Placement opportunities. Upper School students experience a week of outdoor recreation and sports at the start of each academic year.
