Phoenix Country Day School is a nonsectarian, college preparatory school serving 700 boys and girls in Pre-K–Grade 12. Its mission is to offer a distinguished liberal arts curriculum that fosters the growth of the whole person and establishes a foundation for success in college and in life. Intellectual, artistic, and communications skills as well as physical development share equal emphasis with self-discipline and sound moral and ethical values. In Lower School (PK–4), small classes in a nurturing environment for the basis for a strong academic program. In addition to core subjects, there are study/travel exchanges in China, Costa Rica, and Germany. AP courses are available in 14 disciplines.
