Affectionately known as The Rosary, this Catholic day school for girls is one of 21 Sacred Heart Schools in the United States. The Academy is committed to developing a personal and active faith in God, deep respect for intellectual values, social awareness that impels to action, building of community as a Christian value, and personal growth in an atmosphere of wise freedom. The school enrolls 770 girls from many faiths in Preschool - Grade 12, with an early learning center for toddler and nursery girls. The college preparatory program emphasizes mastery of skills in the arts, sci-ences, and humanities within the context of Catholic teaching and tradition. The core curriculum of English, math, religious studies, sciences, social studies, and languages is enriched by offerings in fine arts, technology, and AP and honors courses in the major de-partments. Community service and a senior speech are graduation requirements. Historically, 100 percent of Rosary students enter four-year colleges and universities.
