THE HUN SCHOOL OF PRINCETON'S SUMMER SESSION offers five weeks of programs focusing on enrichment, refresher, and full-credit courses. In addition, Hun's American Culture and Language Institute provides international students a unique introduction to the way Americans speak and live through English as a Second Language classes and cultural trips.

Enrichment courses are designed for those who wish to get a head start on a class they intend to take in the fall. Preview or review courses (60 hours) are for students who need to complete credits or overcome a specific academic problem. Full-credit courses (120 hours) are given in Pre-Calculus, Chemistry, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry. Students may take courses for enrichment in English, writing, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, and SAT prep. Middle school students may take math and English. Resident students participate in an afternoon activities program from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and follow an evening schedule that includes study hall and free time. All students enjoy a final off-campus party.

The American Language and Culture Institute combines intensive classroom study with frequent trips to museums, historical sites, and social events in the mid-Atlantic region including New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Hershey and Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In 2007, students prepared a picture CD-ROM and a collection of short stories and poetry.

Students use the School's facilities including an Athletic Center featuring a fitness center and gyms, air-conditioned classrooms, activity center, and dining hall, snack bar, tennis courts, and playing fields. Resident students enjoy afternoon sports, organized group activities, weekend fun, and off-campus trips.
